Job summary

Atwell, LLC in the United States is seeking an Associate Project Manager, Civil Engineering for a remote role. Applicants must reside in Alabama and be available for occasional travel to our Alabama office and Georgia locations.

The role focuses on civil/site development, stormwater design, and site infrastructure. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and at least 3 years of experience are required; PE or EIT is desirable. Proficiency in Civil 3D and ICPR is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil/site development, stormwater, and permitting.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer or EIT desired.
  • Ability to develop and oversee drawings for civil plans (site layout, piping, grading, drainage, and paving) from sketches.
  • Experience with the planning and design of layout and site design projects.
  • Experience with site development requirements and permitting; experience with environmental resource permits.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D and ICPR with at least 2 years' experience.

  • Prepares and reviews technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
  • Reviews contractor submittals for conformance with contract drawings and specifications
  • Provides, and coordinates engineering services during construction
  • Serves as civil engineer for large multi-discipline projects
