JOB SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for overseeing multiple complex senior housing capital projects throughout the Southwest region. You will manage approximately 3-5 projects at any given time (dependent on project scope and complexity) and will participate in oversight of contractors, construction schedules, and providing status reports and communication to internal and external project stakeholders. Welltower is an industry-leading $60bn S&P 500 company with investments in outpatient medical, seniors housing, and wellness housing properties. This is a REMOTE role that ideally resides in Arizona.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and execute daily on-site activities for multiple projects, coordinate and participate in project meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders regularly to discuss problems, progress, and scheduling of work. Serve as the primary point of contact for all renovation activities.
• Conduct frequent property inspections to ensure projects follow safety protocols, supervise contractors, escalate risks and issues as needed, and ensure the physical integrity of the property.
• Establish expectations and collaborate with stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget, ensuring safety for staff and residents, and conformance to Scope of Work and Contract Documents.
• Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure project close-out documents are complete and properly filed.
• Prepare and update weekly project status reports, construction progress schedules, and trackers for stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support and perform other assigned tasks as needed.

TRAVEL

Frequent travel between project sites is expected. Daily on-site presence at assigned locations is required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience; knowledge of real estate construction is a plus.
