Job summary

dSPACE is seeking an Associate Project Manager to help manage the application and deployment of dSPACE systems in customer environments. You will work with the Project Management team to plan, launch, manage, and deliver projects successfully.

This is an entry level role where responsibilities grow as you gain experience, starting with supporting senior Project Managers. You will assist with requirements, schedules, and resource coordination, and you will help direct other engineers on the

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing projects related to the application and deployment of dSPACE Systems and tools in customer environments/applications. You will work as part of the Project Management team to plan, launch, manage, and deliver projects successfully. As an Associate Project Manager, you will help direct other engineers on the project and provide technical expertise in determining execution strategy.

This is an entry level role, where the size and complexity of assigned projects will grow over time. Initial tasks focus on supporting senior Project Managers, developing the skills required to independently manage projects that have been ordered by customers

Responsibilities:

Manage Application projects, with multi-disciplined teams, to deliver on-time, on-budget, and with the quality expected:

• Serve as lead project interface with the customer
• Establish and manage customer requirements and project scope
• Establish and manage project schedule
• Develop work plans, coordinate tasks
• Develop and present project status reports
• Set project team goals for timelines, customer issues, and quality
• Lead project team to meet goals
• Negotiate resource allocations from functional managers
• Identify program issues as early as possible and drive resolution

Support Project Managers and Senior Project managers on high complexity projects:

• Support verification of requirements
• Support monitoring schedule and reporting progress

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Software)
• Experience with project management, including project scheduling and resource management
• Experience in the deployment, usage, and support of dSPACE tools is desired
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several concurrent tasks/projects
