Job description

Signant Health is a global leader in clinical trial technology, trusted by the world’s leading CROs and biopharmaceutical companies to deliver smarter, more connected research. As the parent company of Ametris — a pioneer in digital health with over 20 years of expertise in clinical research — Signant combines advanced wearable sensor technology, expert scientific consultation, and regulatory-aligned analytics to support every phase of a trial, from study design through regulatory submission. At the intersection of artificial intelligence and clinical innovation, Signant Health is actively integrating AI-driven capabilities across its platform to accelerate trial design, enhance data quality, and unlock deeper insights from complex clinical datasets.

Ametris is the thought and market share leader in wearable-based solutions supporting academic research and biopharmaceutical clinical trials. Its FDA-cleared wearable monitors and robust analytics platform have been widely adopted to quantify human movement in academic and population health research for nearly two decades — and are now the most widely used research-grade activity monitoring system in the world, with clients at more than 1,500 university and scientific institutions across 100+ countries.

About The Role

Ametris – a Signant Health Company is seeking an Associate Project Manager who wants to build deep expertise in clinical trial technology while contributing meaningfully from day one. This role is designed for someone early in their project management career who is ready to learn every aspect of client delivery — and who is energized by the pace, precision, and scientific rigor that clinical research demands.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Health Operations, the Associate Project Manager will partner closely with Project Managers to support end-to-end delivery across multiple concurrent clinical trial implementations. You will serve as a key point of contact for client stakeholders, help evaluate the solutions and workflows behind each study, and take ownership of the project tasks, documentation, and communication that keep studies on track.

This is a role with visible impact inside a small, technical team backed by a global organization. You will work directly with pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and research institutions, gain exposure to senior stakeholders, and follow a clear development path toward full project ownership.

What You Will Own
  • Coordinate and report on multiple concurrent Ametris client projects, supporting overall project quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction across the study lifecycle.
  • Serve as the customer’s secondary point of contact — and primary contact for selected accounts — maintaining consistent, proactive communication with sponsor and client stakeholders.
  • Partner with Project Managers to assemble cross-functional project teams, identify required resources, and deliver against detailed project milestones and dependencies.
  • Execute the actions necessary to resolve project issues, then report clearly on mitigating steps taken to protect deliverables, timelines, and study quality.
  • Maintain project documentation, customer records, project budgets, and status reporting with precision, supporting data integrity and audit trail expectations across Ametris systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams across Product, Support, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and IT to coordinate blockers and drive timely decision-making.
  • Build working knowledge of eClinical system requirements — RTSM, eCOA, eConsent, EDC, and wearable integrations — and how they shape project execution and client confidence.
  • Deliver on‑site and web‑based demonstrations of Ametris systems, and implement customer training programs by phone, webinar, or on‑site.
  • Work alongside customer support to resolve advanced product issues, escalating in a timely manner as needed.
  • Contribute to product development and design based on direct client and field insight.
  • Cultivate durable relationships with clients and across internal departments, representing Ametris externally to customers, partners, and the wider research community.
What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience in a project coordinator or project management position; experience managing technology implementation projects preferred.
  • Working knowledge of full life‑cycle project implementation methodologies.
  • Exposure to clinical research, medical device, healthcare technology, or another regulated environment, with awareness of GxP principles and data integrity expectations (ALCOA+).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to produce clear project status updates, customer correspondence, and internal documentation.
  • Ability to perform independently and under the pressure of time constraints.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Adept at problem solving and resolving conflict, with the composure to manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and with large research and clinical trial customer teams.
  • Able to plan work and work to a plan, adapting as necessary in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Domestic and international travel experience, with flexibility to travel to trade shows and on‑site customer visits as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Operations, a Health Sciences discipline, Sports Science, or Kinesiology preferred. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
  • Must be based in CST or EST time zone.
Nice to Have
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, or working toward PMP.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with wearable device integration, FDA-cleared digital biomarker products, and their regulatory context.
  • Exposure to eClinical technology systems such as RTSM, eCOA, eConsent, or EDC.
  • Experience in a SaaS clinical technology organization.
  • Experience with decentralized clinical trial (DCT) or remote patient monitoring platforms.
