Job Summary
The Associate Project Manager initiates the onboarding of B2B integration projects, supports high-volume activities, and keeps clients and internal SHI teams/stakeholders aware of upcoming milestones and open items. The specialist also adjusts the implementation schedule to accommodate last-minute changes, urgent requests, and changing priorities. This role involves acting as the single point of contact for issues or escalations, managing changes to project scope, and facilitating project and scrum events. The Associate Project Manager communicates status updates, coaches team members on their roles, and ensures project accuracy using management tools like Jira, DevOps, Asana, and MS Project.
Role Description
- Guide and educate clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders about the integration process and service catalog options and costs.
- Lead project engagements to achieve the scope as described in Statements of Work.
- Conduct project kick-offs and create project schedules to ensure timely and budgeted execution.
- Assemble and coordinate the project team, establishing roles and responsibilities.
- Communicate customer status updates, including action items, issues, risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Execute change requests to project scope, schedule, and/or cost as needed.
- Act as the single point of contact for any issues or escalations throughout the project.
- Conduct project close activities to confirm deliverables were achieved.
- Organize and facilitate project and scrum events.
- Coach and mentor all parties on their roles and responsibilities related to a project.
- Manage and ensure accuracy for projects using project management tools such as Jira, DevOps, and MS Project.

Skill Level Requirements
- The ability to effectively utilize applications like Asana and MS Office tools to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently

- Expertise in various project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum, to effectively plan, execute, and close projects
- Proficiency in facilitating Agile Scrum practices, guiding teams through the Scrum framework to ensure efficient and successful project delivery
- Competence in utilizing tools like Jira, Trello, MS Project, or DevOps to plan, track, and manage project progress and resources
- Familiarity with the operational mechanisms, hierarchical setup, and the overall framework of SHI, enabling effective navigation and utilization of internal processes
Other Requirements
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
- Experience within the B2B.
- Experienced with analytics, dashboards, reports, and presentations
- 2-4 years of experience in a customer-facing project management role required
- 2-4 years of experience in an agile scrum environment preferred
- Ability to travel 10%
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
