K&A Power Group in Syracuse, NY is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join a dynamic, client-focused energy team. You will support distribution, transmission, and substation projects from initiation through closeout, including on-site construction and engineering activities.

Your daily duties include coordination, reporting, and ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. The role requires a BS in Engineering or Business (or AS with 4+ years) and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Business with 3+ years of experience or AS with 4+ years.
• Preferred utility construction and project management experience.
• Must communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
• Must work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Customer-service oriented, with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and accuracy.
• Onsite role (1/2X a week).

Responsabilités

• Assist Project Management in planning, coordinating, and executing distribution, transmission, and substation projects from initiation to closeout.
• Provide onsite support for construction and engineering activities, ensuring safety and adherence to requirements.
• Communicate daily with project teams on progress, safety, issues, schedules, changes, and risks.
• Coordinate and lead monthly project reporting, aggregating performance data.
• Develop project approaches and assist in implementing execution plans.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, scope, and support cost control.
• Support financial management, staffing, resource allocation, risk, contract, and change management.
• Ensure deliverables meet client expectations and QA/QC standards.
• Promote a can-do, say-do culture across the team.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Project Manager to join our team at K&A Power Group in Syracuse, New York. • Assist the Project Management team in planning, coordinating, and executing distribution, transmission, and substation projects from initiation through closeout.
• Provide onsite support for construction and engineering activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
• Communicate daily with project teams regarding construction progress, safety concerns, project issues, schedule updates, change orders, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Coordinate and lead monthly project reporting activities, including the collection, analysis, and compilation of project performance data.
• Develop project approaches and assist in implementing project execution plans to support successful project delivery.
• Monitor project schedules, track milestones, manage project scope, and support cost control efforts to ensure projects remain on budget and on schedule.
• Support project financial management, staffing coordination, resource allocation, risk management, contract administration, and change management activities.
• Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations and comply with internal and external quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards.
• Promote a culture of “can do attitude” and “say do” ratio with project deadline and quality across the team.

Apply superior organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities and support successful project outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Business-related field and minimum 3 years of experience or Associates Degree with 4 years of experience
• Preferred utility construction and project management experienced.
• Requires expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel utilization of pivot tables, v lookup, algorithms, and excel other functions).
• Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing
• Must have pleasant manners; able to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Must have customer service oriented “can do” approach to work
• Must have superior organizational skills and accuracy
• Excellent problem solving and people skills also required
• Onsite Role (1/2X a week)

Pay Range: $90,000-$110,000/year
