M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a technically skilled engineer to support building intelligence projects in Tysons, VA. The role involves processing submittals, RFIs, change orders, and maintaining thorough project records as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required, ABET accreditation preferred.
• Experience with engineering documentation and standards is a plus.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Processing submittals.
• Processing RFIs.
• Keeping up daily work tickets.
• Posting RFIs and change orders.
• Tracking and managing change orders.
• Maintaining as-builts as work is completed.
• Documenting project issues/conditions.
• Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
• Submitting hours and cost codes.
• Obtaining permits, badges and access requests in advance
• Assists with preparing change orders.
• Manage project library.
• Participates in KPR (Key Project Review).
