Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Dallas 114 operations based in West Texas. This role launches future leaders in project management and estimating within an employee-owned organization.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, punch list management, QA/QC support, RFIs/submittals, labor control, takeoffs, scheduling, warranties/O&M coordination, and purchasing/invoicing material coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as they are taught.
• Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Must have critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
• Works well under pressure and deadlines.

The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands-on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.
