Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an Associate Project Director to provide leadership and operational oversight for First Line Leaders and Sales Professionals within the franchise. You will drive business performance, guide talent development, and ensure alignment with client expectations.

The role requires 15+ years in pharma sales leadership, with at least 5+ years managing sales reps and 2+ years managing First Line Leaders. Travel to client sites and events is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical sales and sales leadership.
• 5+ years managing sales representatives; 2+ years managing First Line Leaders.
• Strong cross-functional influence and stakeholder management.
• Experience leading complex, regulated initiatives and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead First Line Leaders and Sales Professionals to achieve franchise goals.
• Coach and develop leaders with regular feedback and capability building.
• Diagnose performance gaps and implement timely action plans.
• Oversee talent selection, onboarding, evaluation and retention.
• Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to promotional, legal, and regulatory requirements.
