What You Will Do

GFT is seeking an Associate Program Manager/Construction Manager to join our Construction Services Team in New York, NY. This role requires regular attendance at our New York office.

We are committed to excellence in construction and program management, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction across multiple contracts, from planning through closeout.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to keep projects on track.
• Review and interpret contract documents, including plans and specifications.
• Monitor scope, schedule, and budget while identifying risks and solutions.
• Support decision‑making through clear communication and problem solving.
• Contribute to both new construction and major renovation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in construction and design-related roles.
• At least 4 years managing construction projects across multiple phases.
• Strong understanding of contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience working on public sector projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with public projects.
• 10-12 years of experience with building construction, new and major renovations.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000, depending on experience and geographic location.
