Job summary

Ryan Specialty seeks an Associate Program Manager to support daily operations of group captive insurance programs in Chicago. You will assist in managing technical aspects for brokers, members and service providers while coordinating with internal teams and external partners to drive growth and efficiency.

You will help oversee underwriting data flow, prepare proposals, and maintain accuracy in renewals and board books.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; minimum of 1 year of property & casualty insurance experience, ideally with captive programs.
Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including executives and production.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist the Program Manager in day-to-day operations of assigned captives.
Collaborate with Captive Executives, Business Development Executives, and Program Managers on captive activities.
Facilitate underwriting information flow from submission to proposal production.
Review submissions and data for accuracy before pricing models by actuaries.
Support board meeting prep and clear communication of program status.
