Blu Omega is seeking an Associate Program Manager to lead innovative business improvement projects, providing project management support, and ensuring successful outcomes for the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of activities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and optimizing project delivery. You will work closely with senior leadership, program managers, and customer organizations, while developing tools, frameworks, and processes that drive innovation and enhance program success. This person must be open to going onsite 5 days a week and hold an active DoD Secret clearance.Responsibilities : Provide day-to-day project management and support services for business improvement initiatives. Assist in coordinating and managing the execution of innovative projects. Develop communication products for senior leadership and workforce reporting. Ensure that all key stakeholders are informed with clear, timely, and concise updates. Communicate with Program Managers and Points of Contact (POCs) from customer organizations to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and facilitate smooth project execution. Create materials to help innovation project owners succeed. Provide coaching and facilitation to shape, align, and incubate bottom-up innovation projects. This includes offering pitch coaching, facilitating innovation campaigns, and supporting open calls and leadership-directed tasking. Conduct research activities to link the latest regulations and policies to acquisition management gaps. Use this research to build logical justifications for potential pilots or prototypes. Support the building, testing, and maintenance of project management tools and templates. Ensure routine updates and decommissioning of outdated tools or templates to maintain efficiency. Develop and track key success metrics by setting up data collection processes. Monitor project impact and status, generate reports, and ensure all initiatives align with strategic goals to guide decision-making and enhance innovation efforts.Qualifications : Must have an active Secret Clearance to be considered Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience Experience in leading or supporting business process improvement, innovation, program management, modernization, and transformation projects Familiarity and experience with agile methodologies and data-driven insights to lead teams, execute innovation initiatives, deliver business solutions, and drive workforce culture change Proficiency in program management toolsNice to Haves : Experience with project management frameworks and methodologies, innovation, and design thinking frameworks Knowledge of change management methodologies, strategic communication plans, workshop facilitation, and skills coaching Proficient analytical skills with experience in analyzing data and providing strategic recommendations Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative solutions and identify and mitigate risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically Understanding of leading commercial practices for innovation management Familiarity with business improvement processes and strategic impact initiatives Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies Strong organizational skills and attention to detailSalary Range : $100K - $110KOur final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearanceWhat Blu Omega Can Offer You : Competitive benefits including Health Insurance, 401K w / match, Paid Time Off and more.
