This entry-level role focuses on routine program management tasks across one or more programs, with detailed guidance and instruction.

The position involves assisting in cost/schedule planning, coordinating with DOE and partner agencies, and building cross-functional relationships within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required, a U.S. DOE security clearance (DOE Q-level).

Summary

Entry level position performing routine program management functions on assigned projects or sub-projects of a general nature and limited scope. Completes, with detailed instructions, assignments in support of one or more weapon, product/service, or reimbursable programs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists in the program management activities to manage one or more moderate to significantly complex program elements.
  • Provides input into the review and execution of innovative solutions to technical issues.
  • Participates in the development of cost and schedule framework for projects and program elements.
  • Participates in the establishment of production/project definitions, maintenance of schedules, and engineering releases associated with weapon or reimbursable programs.
  • Assists in the technical, administrative, and logistical liaison roles with company, Department of Energy, design agencies, laboratories, integrated contractors, and other government agencies for one or more program elements.
  • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with other internal business units.
