Job summary

Amity Foundation is seeking an Associate Program Director to supervise on-site counselors, assist the Program Director, and coordinate staff training and reporting for AOD certification progress. The role emphasizes collaboration with CDCR/CCHCS and other institutions within the program.

Qualified candidates must be a DHCS-approved AOD Counselor with at least three years of experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day program delivery.

Qualifications

• Certified AOD Counselor with DHCS approval and 3+ years experience.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating reports.
• Knowledge of ISUDTP contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be on-site during programming hours and oversee day-to-day delivery of program activities in the absence of the Program Director.
• Provide oversight, training, and support to Supervising Counselor(s).
• Coordinate monthly staff training days with Supervising Counselor(s).
• Develop monthly reports documenting counseling staff progress toward AOD certification.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff.
