Job summary

Amity Foundation is seeking compassionate individuals for the Associate Program Director (ISUDT) role to support the Program Director and supervise Supervising Counselors on-site. The position involves on-site programming, day-to-day administration in the director's absence, and coordinating reporting on staff progress toward AOD certification.

Candidates should be certified AOD Counselors with three years of experience, and be prepared to collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS and other staff in a prison

Qualifications

• Understanding of substance abuse causes, symptoms, and effects.
• Knowledge of program curriculum and best practices.
• Awareness of DHCS ISUDTP contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be on-site during programming hours.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery in the absence of the Program Director.
• Provide oversight, training, and support to Supervising Counselor(s).
• Coordinate monthly reports documenting staff progress toward AOD certification.
• Coordinate monthly staff training days with Supervising Counselor(s).
• Support the Program Director as requested.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS and contracted staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Contractor.
