Job summary

MilliporeSigma in the United States seeks a dedicated operator to perform manufacturing tasks, ensure safety, meet production goals, and maintain rigorous quality documentation.

You will support equipment, materials, and inventory, communicate updates across teams, and participate in audits while driving continuous process improvements. A Bachelor's in Chemistry or related field (or equivalent experience) is required, with strong safety and ISO knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a life science/engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Strong safety culture and ability to work with hazardous chemicals.
• Experience with ISO quality standards is preferred.

Your Role

Shift/Hours

Shift/Hours: 1st shift, Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Physical Attributes

• Wear an air helmet, respirator mask, safety shoes, rubber apron, chemical protective suits and gloves, safety glasses and goggles to protect from toxic or corrosive chemicals.
• Work in occasional wet, humid abnormally hot or cold environment.
• Sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch for long periods of time.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Work with and in proximity of hazardous chemicals.
• Use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Use a range of office, laboratory, and manufacturing equipment.
• Work near moving mechanical parts.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering disciplineORHigh School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of work experience in a chemical production, laboratory or chemical engineering role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Safe chemical handling methods.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality standards.

Pay Range

$27/hour - $48/hour

Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.
