MilliporeSigma is hiring a Manufacturing Technician 4 - 2nd Shift at the Broadway site to mix and process biological compounds per established protocols. You will document thoroughly and communicate process status to the team, ensuring batch records meet quality guidelines.

Role requires 3+ years in a life science manufacturing setting, a high school diploma or GED, and strong chemistry/math fundamentals. Training on 1st shift for 6–8 weeks; shift is Mon-Fri 2:00pm-10:30pm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in a chemical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other life science manufacturing environment.
• Associate Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Life Science.
• Solid knowledge of chemistry, math, and general science.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Your Role

The Manufacturing Technician 4 - 2nd Shift at the Broadway site will mix and process various biological compounds according to established protocols and perform operations in support of the group. Job duties include:

• Shift details: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm (training will be on 1st shift for the first 6-8 weeks).
• Complete all documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices as dictated by internal policies.
• Communicate status of processes, products, and equipment to the team.
• Complete a thorough and accurate batch record at the conclusion of production operations consistent with quality guidelines.
• Work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or hazardous chemicals, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Attributes

• Lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Sit, stand; walk; use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
• Utilize close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision and adjust focus.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as an air helmet, mask, safety shoes, rubber apron, protective gloves, and or chemical resistant suit.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of work experience in a chemical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other life science manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other Life Science discipline.
• Solid knowledge of chemistry, math, and general science.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Pay Range for this position: $24.00- $44.00 per hour.

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
