Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking an Associate Production Scientist – Night Shift at the 3300 South Second Ave/Cherokee site to manufacture products per established protocols and provide technical support to team members.

You will work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00pm–6:30am with a 20% shift differential, supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations and adherence to quality guidelines. A science degree and GMP experience are required, with favorable lab skills and Office familiarity.

Your Role

The Associate Production Scientist – Night Shift at the 3300 South Second Ave/ Cherokee site, will manufacture products according to established protocols, provide technical support to others and perform operations supporting the group and department. Job duties include:

• Shift Details: This role will support 24/7 manufacturing operations and work 12-hour shifts from 6:00pm – 6:30am including a 20% shift differential
• Evaluate products according to established protocols, provide technical support to others, and perform operations in support of the group and department.
• Safely perform operations to meet quality expectations.
• Assist with Buffer formulation Schedule and communication with ADC
• Maintain required training to perform tasks/assignments.
• Perform routine processes and unit operations.
• Clean equipment and working areas during and after operations.
• Support facility functions (e.g., maintain equipment, prepare reagents, restock supplies, waste disposal).
• Communicate the status of operations and convey concerns to the supervisor.
• Provide complete and accurate records consistent with quality guidelines.
• Ensure all applicable logbooks are completed as required by current procedures.
• Interact with other departments as needed and perform procedures independently and as part of a team.
• Participate as needed in quality audits and customer interactions.
• Improve processes by applying scientific knowledge, experience, and principles, in compliance with change control.
• Take action to resolve unsafe conditions.
• Train team members and act as technical consultants.

Physical Attributes

• Personal protective equipment such as a respirator or chemical protective clothing for extended periods.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or other science disciplines

OR

• Associate Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or other science discipline
• 2+ years of production, GMP experience (pharmaceutical GMP operations environment, Quality, knowledge of Good Documentation Practices).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with laboratory instruments and production equipment
• Knowledge of process techniques, unit operations, and safe chemical handling methods.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of ICH Regulatory and Quality standards.
• Knowledge of Operational Excellence.

RSREMD

Pay Range for this position: $24.00 - $41.00.

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
