Your Role:

MilliporeSigma in Miamisburg, OH is seeking an Associate Production Scientist.

Responsibilities:

• Safely perform operations to meet quality expectations
• Ensure quality throughout the process
• Complete the volume of work required to achieve group/departmental goals and meet deadlines
• Participate as needed in quality audits
• In compliance with change control procedures, improve processes through application of scientific knowledge, experience, and principles
• Identify opportunities for process improvement

Physical Attributes:

Wearing appropriate protective gear, (hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemical resistant suits, gloves, safety shoes) and other personal protection equipment "PPE" to protect from toxic or corrosive chemicals in the forms of liquids, solids, vapors or airborne particles Lifting and/or moving to 50 pounds unassisted and ability to push and pull heavy materials to complete assignment. Lifting more poundage with assistance.Sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stoops, kneeling, crouching and crawling for extended periods of time

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other Life Science discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with safe chemical handling methods
• 1+ years of experience in a lab and experience with lab equipment
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and the ability to learn and operate other specific application software
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting abilities
• Strong communication skills, oral and written
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of ISO Quality standards

Pay Range for this position:

$24.00 - $39.00/hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.
