Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York, NY seeks an Associate Product Owner for the Private Equity Group (PEG) to drive digital solutions, operating models, and data-driven client deliverables.

You will translate business needs into actionable product requirements and collaborate with investment, operations, and technology teams across geographies to deliver high-impact initiatives. You will lead product discovery, create MVP roadmaps, and manage backlogs while ensuring adherence to user-experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years relevant experience in private equity, consulting, product management, or digital transformation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Experience with workflow mapping, requirements gathering, and agile delivery practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile methods such as sprint planning, grooming, estimation and retrospective and co-manage complex product backlogs.
• Support PEG's technology platform development, execution, and steady-state maintenance.
• Support Digital Strategy engagements and Leadership updates.
• Manage day-to-day activities for core product design including user interviews.
• Develop high fidelity prototypes and ensure UX standards across PEG products.
• Automate recurring client deliverables and insights reporting.
• Lead design thinking engagements with internal product and Investment Management teams.
• Provide PMs access to enhanced analytics on portfolio construction, performance, and liquidity.
• Lead junior product managers in MVP backlogs and roadmaps.
• Drive transformation to human-centered design and Agile methodologies.
