What We Need:
We are currently searching for an Associate Product Marketing Manager to join our team in Muscatine, Iowa.
The Associate Product Marketing Manager will contribute to the success of the assigned product category by driving results through cross-functional collaboration. This role will support the product lifecycle, from inputs on ideation and development to launch and optimization of respective category.
What You Will Do:
  1. Support the lifecycle of a specified product category in accordance with the 3-year product roadmap.
  2. Collect market insights, research competition and support product strategies to meet customer needs and organizational objectives.
  3. Participate in Voice of Customer, market research and analyze trend data to identify and drive product opportunities.
  4. Represent product category during product development, ensuring product meets customer requirements and is delivered on time and within budget.
  5. Execute milestones and deliverables for each stage of the new product development process.
  6. Help to define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market research and competitive positioning.
  7. Participate in successful product launches by collaborating with marketing and merchandising teams to create compelling product storytelling and go-to-market strategy.
  8. Monitor and analyze product sales, profit performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product category improvement including cost savings and quality improvement.
  9. Implement end-of-life product strategies including discontinuation and phase-out processes.
  10. Communicate vital information, training, and product knowledge to support sales to various internal stakeholders.
  11. Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
What You Have:
  1. Bachelor's degree required, Business or related field preferred.
  2. At least 1 year of relevant experience required; 3 years preferred.
  3. Strong listening, verbal, and written communication, and presentation skills needed.
