Job summary

Picarro, Inc. is seeking an Associate Product Manager for Workplace Solutions in Santa Clara, onsite. You will own roadmaps across hardware and software, drive market insight, write MRDs/PRDs, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver products on time and within budget.

You'll collaborate with R&D, engineering, and data analytics while supporting hardware NPI/PLC and enabling the commercial team with collateral and training materials. Travel ~20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 2–3 years in product management; 3–5 years in applications engineering or similar with product ownership.
• Hands-on experience managing software, hardware, or both products.
• Experience as product owner or in sprint-based development.
• Experience with hardware product development: NPI, design verification, PLC.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong writing skills for MRDs/PRDs/specs.
• Willingness to travel ~20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own product roadmap for workplace products across hardware and software.
• Gather market and customer insights to identify opportunities and validate concepts.
• Write MRDs, PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead cross-functional execution with R&D, engineering, QA, data analytics.
• Act as product owner in Agile scrum cycles.
• Support hardware NPI and PLC processes.
• Create sales collateral and training materials for the gas business team.
• Present products at conferences and customer sites; build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Define KPIs and monitor adoption post-launch; drive improvements.
