Job summary

PSG California, part of Dover Corporation, is seeking an Associate Product Manager to support the strategic direction and daily execution of the product line lifecycle across the California portfolio including All-Flo, Griswold, Neptune and Wilden.

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will work with cross-functional teams to maximize market share, profit and revenue, while aligning with customer and market expectations. This onsite role requires travel and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast pace, dynamic environment.
• Self-sufficient, self-motivated, works with moderate supervision.
• Strong team player, great work ethic, passionate and a commitment to win.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of product line strategies for the PSG California portfolio that supports market and customer penetration objectives of the global sales team.
• Include pricing and margin maintenance, new product development, lifecycle planning, and cost targets.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis to develop specific value propositions for the assigned portfolio.
• Define new product development opportunities and build a robust funnel of prospective new investment projects.
• Build business cases for new product opportunities through VOC research and establish product specifications and design targets.
• Effectively manage and communicate product launches, changes, and promotions with the marketing team.
• Coordinate promotion of products and services to deliver profitable growth.
• Provide support to the sales force through management of technical resources and customer meetings.
