Job summary

Petmate is seeking an Associate Product Manager to support development and optimization of product lines. You will work closely with Product Manager, Design, Engineering, Sourcing, Marketing, and Sales to drive category growth through consumer insights, competitive analysis, and new product initiatives.

This role offers opportunities to grow into full product ownership by building analytical expertise and cross-functional leadership within a pet-centric brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
• 1–3 years in product management, marketing, merchandising, or related role (CPG/durable goods preferred).
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams and exposure to product development processes is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with consumer focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining expertise on assigned product categories and market trends.
• Support development of annual product line roadmaps and long-term category strategies.
• Conduct competitive research to identify opportunities and enhancements.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities through the product lifecycle.
• Prepare launch materials, pricing proposals, and timelines for milestones.
