Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Associate Product Manager to own the in-car video (ICV) device program within the Evidence Product Management team. You will work with product owners, developers, and cross-functional partners to shape roadmaps and release plans.

This role emphasizes market requirements, backlog refinement, and clear communication of progress, with a focus on enterprise/public safety hardware and software solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Product Management
• At least 5 years of experience in in-car video and/or telematics hardware, firmware, applications, and solutions development
• Understanding of the enterprise segment of the in-car video market is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain the product roadmap and backlog items to stakeholders and development teams
• English language proficiency for effective communication
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to motivate others

Responsibilities

• Understand the market’s product requirements and competitive landscape to enable delivery.
• Create a maintenance plan aligned with the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the product owner and development teams to create well-maintained, refined, and prioritized backlogs with clear definitions of done.
• Define product release plans and measure progress toward completion and predictability.
• Prioritize market expansion or establishment, coordinating with marketing, sales, training, support, and partners; identify translation and territorial approval requirements.
• Assist with large-opportunity projects.
• Persuade and influence others through strong communication.
• Develop and demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise.
