Job summary

Northern Trust in Chicago is seeking an Associate Product Manager to ensure smooth, optimized delivery of new product features. You will work closely with the Domain’s Product Manager, Engineering Manager and Scrum Teams, and with GFO partners to support features across the full development lifecycle.

The role requires knowledge of product management and Agile practices, ability to translate business requirements into user stories, and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Product Management principles, Agile methodologies, and the product development lifecycle.
• Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technology teams, and cross-functional partners.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering valuable product outcomes.
• Experience supporting product delivery, testing, release readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar product management tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
