Job summary

Checkmate is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our Product team with a primary focus on project management and AI product execution. You will drive delivery across cross-functional squads and help translate product requirements into clear execution plans.

Ideal candidates bring 3–6 years in project management within SaaS or digital products, with strong communication, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in project management, project coordination, delivery management, or related role.
• Experience working with Product and Engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency with data analysis to inform product decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from planning through execution and delivery across technical, operational and product initiatives.
• Own assigned projects or workstreams and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, timelines, dependencies, and responsibilities.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and status trackers.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and other delivery activities.
• Facilitate project meetings and document decisions and action items.
• Monitor progress and highlight delays or risks; coordinate release readiness.
