Job description

Summary

Are you looking to take the next step in your Product Management career while gaining meaningful ownership and influence? As an Associate Product Manager, you'll join a collaborative team focused on enhancing and modernizing key areas of our Perform platform, including new feature development, customer-facing improvements, and larger platform transformation initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone transitioning from Business Analysis or early Product Management who wants to move beyond execution and develop strategic product skills. You'll partner closely with Engineering, UX, QA, and Product leaders to shape solutions, contribute to roadmap planning, and deliver valuable experiences for customers. From day one, you'll have the opportunity to own features, participate in product discovery, and help drive decisions that impact the future of the platform.

Our team operates in a highly collaborative Kanban/Agile environment where Product, UX, and Engineering work together to solve complex problems. We value curiosity, ownership, and people who aren't afraid to speak up, ask thoughtful questions, challenge ideas respectfully, and contribute their perspective. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives with autonomy, enjoys turning ambiguity into action, and wants to grow into a strategic Product Management career.

Core Responsibilities
  • Own sprint-level execution and drive assigned features from concept through delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product leadership to shape product vision, roadmap priorities, and quarterly objectives.
  • Partner with Engineering, UX, and QA to define solutions, align requirements, and ensure successful feature delivery.
  • Lead backlog grooming, user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and sprint planning activities.
  • Facilitate discussions and help drive clarity around customer needs, business requirements, and product decisions.
  • Participate in product discovery activities, customer conversations, and stakeholder discussions to better understand user problems and opportunities.
  • Use AI tools and Figma to support product discovery, requirement gathering, concept creation, and feature definition.
  • Track feature progress and support release readiness, documentation, internal enablement, and communication efforts.
  • Contribute to beta programs, product enhancements, and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product experiences and successful feature launches.
  • Take ownership of your work, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Product Management, Associate Product Management, Business Analysis, or related experience.
  • Experience defining detailed user stories, use cases, requirements, and acceptance criteria for technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development practices, preferably within a Kanban environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, AirFocus, Figma, or similar product management and collaboration platforms.
  • Experience with or strong interest in leveraging AI tools for ideation, analysis, documentation, prototyping, or product development activities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, UX, QA, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and drive conversations forward.
  • A growth mindset with a desire to continuously learn, develop new skills, and grow into a more strategic Product role.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of outcomes, and thrive with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Experience working with data, integrations, system dependencies, or technical workflows is a plus.
