Job summary

Brady Corporation, a global leader in safety, identification and compliance solutions, seeks an Associate Product Manager for the Label Printing Systems portfolio in Milwaukee, WI. You will support long‑term development, lifecycle management, and commercialization of products across direct and distributor channels.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree, at least two years of relevant experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while translating customer insights into business

  • Support the development and implementation of a long-term new product development roadmap.
  • Support plans to maximize revenue and profitability for existing products through lifecycle stages.
  • Gather customer insights via VOC, quantitative research, and focus groups to improve business cases.
  • Understand and support management of product category P&L.
  • Assist in commercialization strategies to maximize success of new product launches with omni-channel approach.

What We Need

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability of a portion of our Label Printing Systems portfolio. The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for supporting and executing plans to grow their portfolio from cradle-to-grave, including ideation, business case development, product design, product development, commercial launch, growth, maturity, decline, and EOL. Their time will be split between new product development support and product lifecycle management.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Support the development and implementation of a long-term new product development roadmap.
  • Support the development and implementation of plans to maximize revenue and profitability for existing products from product introduction, growth, maturity, decline, and end of life.
  • Gather and analyze customer insights via Voice of the Customer (VOC), quantitative research, and focus groups resulting in better meeting diverse customer needs and developing more accurate business cases.
  • Understand and support management of product category Profit & Loss (P&L).
  • Gather knowledge about the competitive environment that drives action to Sales, Marketing and R&D.
  • Support and execute commercialization strategies to maximize success of new product launches using an omni-channel approach using direct sales and distributors.
  • Participate in developing product pricing and positioning strategies to maximize profit as needed.
  • Serve as an advocate for your product line by engaging with cross-functional partners including sales, marketing, channel teams, operations, R&D, and regional product leaders.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related technical field
  • Minimum 2 years of applicable work experience
  • Possess the drive and capability to deeply understand and advocate for both internal and external users and customers.
  • Proven ability to lead and align diverse cross-functional teams toward shared objectives without formal reporting authority.
  • Demonstrates the capability to formulate long-term strategies, navigate ambiguous situations, and connect daily execution to core strategic objectives.
  • Decisive prioritization skills, including knowing when and how to say no to maintain focus
  • Up to 20% travel, international and domestic
