About The Role

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager for Westlaw to help us transform legal research – and litigation workflows more broadly – with Gen AI. As an Associate PM for Westlaw, you will have the opportunity to work with the market leader on a team that is using cutting-edge AI and the highest quality legal content to utterly transform legal workflows.

About You

  • Juris Doctor degree required.
  • Ideal candidates understand that AI is the most exciting advancement in human history and are fluent with the latest AI tools and techniques.
  • The candidate will also possess either (1) experience as a litigator or legal researcher and/or (2) experience developing AI solutions for research or litigation workflows.
  • They are motivated individuals who are looking to transfer their litigation and/or AI experiences into a career in Product Management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Can break down complex legal research and related litigation workflows into the subparts SOTA AI can perform well with and partner with Thomson Reuters data scientists, engineers, attorney editors, and designers to bring new solutions to market quickly.
  • Can improve briefs and motions with sophisticated legal analysis and efficient legal research.
  • Can lead customer research with experienced litigators to more deeply understand customer workflows and refine product concepts.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.

Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $80,640 - $149,760.

For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $70,000 - $130,000.

This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
