Job summary

Hamilton Lane is seeking an Associate on the Global Client Solutions Product Team to support product operations, fundraising efforts and investor relations across our investment platforms.

In this role you will review work from analysts, assist with inbound requests from investors and prospects, and help manage RFPs, due diligences, pitch materials and platform decks. Collaboration and deadline-driven performance are essential.

Qualifications

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of work experience in the financial services industry, preferably within product marketing or management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of product management and marketing strategies.
  • Work with Global Client Solutions sales leads and supporting teams in completing and reviewing RFPs, DDQs, and related due diligence documents in support of new business opportunities.
  • Assist the sales team in creating and reviewing prospect-specific materials for due diligence sessions and pitch meetings.
  • Maintain and update standard product marketing materials, including pitchbooks, fact sheets, and platform decks.
  • Update the RFP response database and coordinate across teams to support completion of RFPs and questionnaires.
  • Support new products transitioning from the development stage to launch.
  • Provide responses for investor inquiries, escalating complex questions to senior team members as necessary.
  • Review analyst work for recurring reporting documents and investor deliverables.
  • Contribute to the training and onboarding of team analysts.
  • Act as a key resource for team and department projects in collaboration with team members and other departments.

Opportunity

As part of Hamilton Lane’s Global Client Solutions Team, the Product Team is responsible for the management and execution of all aspects of our investment programs across our investment platforms, including managing products and assisting with investor relations across the globe. Within the Direct Credit Product Team, the Associate will support product operations, fundraising efforts, and relationship maintenance for our products and solutions.

The candidate will review work done by team analysts and will serve as a resource for handling inbound ad‑hoc requests from investors and prospects. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, able to communicate effectively and operate in a cooperative and deadline‑driven environment where priorities often change.

Qualifications
  • 4‑year bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s). (Minimum required)
  • 3+ years of work experience in the financial services industry, preferably within product marketing or management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Highly motivated, organized, detail‑oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage up across multiple senior members of the team.
  • Able to manage a dynamic workload and leverage resources to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of project/process management in leveraging both junior and senior resources to complete projects and tasks.
  • Proactive in identifying challenges and working within the team to find solutions.
  • Demonstrated success participating in cross‑functional projects.
