About the Role

We are seeking an Associate UX Designer to join the rapidly growing and evolving UX team at Anywhere Real Estate. You will support the design team in creating intuitive, user-centered experiences for our web and mobile platforms. Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and senior designers, you will learn, grow, and help craft exceptional digital experiences.

Responsibilities

1. User Research Support: Assist in conducting user research, synthesizing findings, and gathering insights to inform design decisions. Analyze data to understand user behaviors and pain points.
2. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes. Iterate based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing.
3. UI Design: Work within existing design systems to create visually appealing and consistent interfaces. Refine UI patterns, typography, and color schemes in line with brand and accessibility standards.
4. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility. Present ideas and rationale clearly to team members and stakeholders.
5. Usability Testing & Iteration: Participate in usability testing sessions, observe user interactions, and refine designs based on feedback.
6. Documentation & Design Systems: Maintain design documentation, user flows, and style guides. Contribute to the design system by identifying new patterns and ensuring consistency.
7. Continuous Learning & Growth: Stay informed on UX best practices, emerging trends, and tools. Seek feedback and mentorship to improve skills.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Internship, academic projects, or coursework in UX or related fields. A strong portfolio is highly valued.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability best practices.
• Familiarity with design systems and UI patterns.

Collaboration & Communication Skills

• Strong teamwork, presentation, and feedback skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving.
• Ability to adapt and incorporate feedback.

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of user research methods and usability testing.
• Exposure to HTML, CSS, and front-end concepts.
• Interest or experience in real estate digital products.
