Job summary

Hyosung HICO LTD. Memphis plant is seeking a manufacturing technician to perform basic operations on equipment used in drying, oil processing, and related processes for power transformers.

Candidates should have a high school education, basic math, ability to read drawings, and experience with hand and power tools. The role involves safety practices, TPM tasks, 6S, overhead crane and forklift operation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent with minimal training/experience.
• Intermediate mechanical or technical skills.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic ability to read drawings/specifications/prints.
• Basic math and geometry skills.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office.
• Basic knowledge and use of simple industrial measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform basic tasks on machines related to drying, oil processing, and other transformer processes.
• Perform basic mechanical assembly, load/unload of machinery and use non-CNC equipment.
• Move liquid materials between tank farm and factory.
• Set up and operate oil purification or heating equipment.
• Follow prints and BOM to select components for processing and installation.
• Adhere to safety, quality, cost and productivity standards.
