Job summary

Kalsec Inc. is seeking an Associate Process Safety Manager in Kalamazoo, MI to lead and coordinate the PSM program, PHAs, MOC, and related safety systems. You will partner with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to interpret regulations and promote safe operations.

The role requires 5+ years in PSM, PHA facilitation with HAZOP/What-If, and strong proficiency in MS Office and process-safety software such as VisiumKMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Safety with 3+ years as an individual contributor and 2+ years in management.
• Five+ years of experience supporting OSHA 1910.119 PSM programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain PSM at Kalsec and ensure compliance.
• Serve as PHA Leader: manage PHA lifecycle, preload/schedule PHAs, communicate results.
