Job summary

Google is seeking an Associate Principal Analyst for Trust and Safety, Shopping in Sunnyvale, CA. The role focuses on data analytics, policy, and cross-functional collaboration to protect users and partners from abuse across Google products, including Shopping.

Responsibilities

• Ideate and manage high impact projects which increase user safety or improve user experience, in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders such as Engineering, Product, Legal, Policy, Sales and other Trust and Safety teams.
• Perform investigative fraud and abuse analysis, producing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for new signals, automation, workflow improvements and operational efficiency gains. Subsequently drive solutions/projects to completion.
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members.
• Perform on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, including weekend coverage/holidays. This role works with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, and upsetting topics or content.
