Job summary

Joseph’s Classic Market in West Palm Beach, FL, is hiring a Prepared Foods Associate to help guests select meals and provide warm, knowledgeable service in our Prepared Foods department. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, handling salads, soups, pastas, and other prepared items while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior kitchen or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions.
• Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks.
• Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness.
• Prepare salads and pack out soups, pastas, sauces, and other prepared foods.
• Plate, package, and present items to meet Joseph’s quality and appearance standards.
• Accurately package, label, and price self-service items.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
• Operate basic counter equipment, including scales, knives, and other counter equipment.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
