Joseph’s Classic Market in West Palm Beach is hiring a Prepared Foods Associate to help guests select items they’ll love while delivering warm, knowledgeable service in our Prepared Foods department.

As an associate, you’ll gain hands-on experience in food presentation and department operations, work alongside a friendly team, and have opportunities to grow into leadership roles. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
• A passion for serving people

• Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions
• Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks
• Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness
• Prepare salads and pack out soups, pastas, sauces, and other prepared foods
• Plate, package, and present items to meet Joseph’s quality and appearance standards
• Accurately package, label, and price self-service items
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
• Operate basic counter equipment, including scales, knives, and other counter equipment
• Assist with other tasks as assigned

Physical & Work Environment

A Prepared Foods Associate works primarily within the Prepared Foods department. This role involves walking and standing for extended periods and lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds. The position includes frequent interaction with customers and fellow team members in a fast-paced, food-focused environment.
