  • Leading or supporting strategic and technical aspects such as factor comparisons, lump sum exercises, funding reserves and surplus balance sheets.
  • Oversight (not delivery) of data cleansing, GMP Equalisation, administration transition and settlement of DC/residual benefits.
  • Supporting other business areas (actuarial consulting, governance, propositions, new business).
  • Managing delivery against project plans, escalating risks where needed.
  • Delivering training to clients.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Preparing client invoices in line with internal deadlines.
  • Ensuring accuracy, rigour and clear audit trails across all work.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant pensions law and practice.

To enjoy and succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Strong organisational skills and confident communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and competing deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset for coordinating stakeholder activity.
  • Motivation to develop technical, consultancy and project‑management skills.

  • Experience in consultancy or supporting UK pension schemes (e.g., actuarial work, bulk annuities, trustee exec, scheme management).
  • Understanding of the legislative framework for UK pension schemes appropriate to experience.

We would also encourage applications from candidates who perhaps do not possess all the attributes and experience listed above but are competent with the majority and would be able to quickly develop the additional skills and experience required in post with our full support. We would also love to hear about other knowledge and experience you may have that is not listed but could be of interest.

In addition to a competitive salary and access to our profit share scheme, we offer:

  • A flexible selection of employee benefits, so you can choose a package that best matches your lifestyle and needs.
  • A collaborative and encouraging work environment where your thinking and ideas are encouraged.
  • On site mental health and wellbeing assistance.
  • A commitment to helping you develop both personally and professionally, with mentoring opportunities and access to our award-winning learning portal, Aspire.
