OSG has partnered with a leading banking institution in its search for an Associate Portfolio Manager to join its Corporate Banking group based in Miami, FL. This individual will focus on portfolio monitoring, credit analysis, and transaction execution across a diversified corporate client base.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a banking professional early in their career to gain hands-on exposure to complex credit structures and client-facing initiatives in a high-performing environment.
Key Functions:
- Monitor a diversified corporate banking portfolio for adherence to credit standards and risk guidelines, tracking financial performance, covenant compliance, and key credit metrics across assigned relationships
- Identify trends, emerging risks, and early warning signals to support periodic portfolio reviews
- Maintain accurate portfolio reporting, including exposure tracking and risk ratings
- Ensure credit files and documentation are complete, organized, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards
Credit & Transaction Execution
- Support underwriting efforts for new transactions, amendments, renewals, and restructurings through financial analysis and risk assessment
- Assist in the preparation of credit memoranda, financial models, and supporting documentation for internal approval processes
- Coordinate the loan closing process with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely execution
- Partner with legal and compliance teams on documentation review and execution
Client & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Relationship Managers, Credit teams, and Product partners to support client needs and ongoing portfolio management
- Prepare materials for client meetings, internal discussions, and credit committees
- Respond to client inquiries related to portfolio activity, reporting, and transactions
- Support the implementation and maintenance of treasury and cash management solutions, and identify opportunities to deepen client product usage
Strategic & Analytical Support
- Contribute to portfolio analytics and reporting to support decision-making and strategic initiatives
- Assist with ad hoc analyses, presentations, and projects for senior management
- Support efforts to improve portfolio performance and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, or a related financial services role
- Exposure to corporate or middle market lending preferred
- Strong understanding of financial statements and basic credit principles
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with systems such as nCino is a plus
