Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in planning or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in land use, planning, or related areas.
  • Knowledge of Idaho Local Land Use Planning Act and related statutes.
  • Excellent writing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to produce cohesive, reader-friendly documents.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic research to support municipal and regional projects.
  • Draft and craft comprehensive plans and zoning ordinances.
  • Perform development reviews and feasibility analyses.
  • Collaborate with team members to support Idaho practice.
