Job summary

Provost & Pritchard in Idaho seeks an Associate Planner to join our dynamic planning team. You will support our Idaho practice on municipal and regional projects, conducting strategic research and helping develop planning documents.

You will craft comprehensive plans, create zoning ordinances, and participate in development reviews, collaborating with professionals to deliver clear, reader-friendly results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience with researching, writing, presenting land use development or related projects.
• Knowledge of Idaho Local Land Use Planning Act and related statutes, environmental planning principles, public agency procedures, and technical knowledge.
• Excellent writing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to complete documents that are cohesive and easy to read.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.
