  • Ability to read and interpret SOPs, cGMP requirements, equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Experience maintaining and adjusting packaging or manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to identify equipment issues and recommend opportunities for machine improvement.
  • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout procedures and safe equipment maintenance practices.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability and production efficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Flexibility to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to meet applicable visual acuity requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, operate, and troubleshoot packaging machinery and equipment.
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble equipment and machine components.
  • Perform minor repairs and mechanical adjustments to maintain efficient line operation.
  • Monitor packaging lines for production quality, output, and equipment performance.
  • Supply machinery with necessary packaging materials to support continuous production.
  • Operate and troubleshoot serialization equipment and related software.
  • Complete required equipment, production, and maintenance documentation accurately.
  • Review equipment manuals and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow cGMP requirements, SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Assist with packaging or line support functions as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and escalated complex mechanical issues when necessary.

As the Associate Packaging Mechanic, you will support the safe and efficient operation of packaging equipment by setting up, adjusting, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery. You will perform routine cleaning and minor repairs, monitor equipment performance, complete required documentation, and help minimize production interruptions while following cGMP, SOP, quality, and safety requirements. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
