Job summary

Three Rivers Therapy in Vancouver, WA, is seeking an Associate Outpatient Counselor to provide therapy to children, youth, adults, and families in an outpatient setting. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions while gaining supervised clinical experience toward licensure.

The role emphasizes hands-on practice, strong supervision, and the opportunity to build confidence in assessment, care coordination, and clinical decision‑making.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• Experience providing outpatient therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to manage a full caseload.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As an Associate Outpatient Counselor, you will provide therapeutic services to children, youth, adults, and families in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to support client growth and progress. Working Conditions

This position is performed primarily in a professional office and clinical environment without substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

Physical Requirements
