This role partners closely with Executive Leadership, the CFO, and senior leaders across our Credit investment strategies including Direct Lending, Investment Grade Alpha, Commercial Real Estate, and Hybrid Capital.

You will lead strategic finance efforts supporting the growth and profitability of 26North’s Credit investment strategies. Responsibilities include financial modeling, capital planning, and performance analysis to support investment and corporate decisions. This position offers a unique opportunity to have an outsized impact within one of the industry’s most dynamic alternative investment firms.

Responsibilities
Strategic Finance Leadership
  • Act as the strategic finance lead for 26North’s Credit investment strategies, serving as a thought partner to the platform leadership.
  • Drive the development of long‑range financial plans, forecasts, and capital allocation frameworks.
  • Evaluate strategic initiatives including M&A, fund structures, and new product launches.
  • Deliver executive‑ready presentations and insights for Management Committee and Board discussions.
Performance Analytics & Decision Support
  • Own financial modeling and scenario analysis for all Credit investment strategies — analyzing revenue drivers, fee economics, expense allocations, and profitability.
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs that track AUM growth, capital deployment, and returns.
  • Partner with investment, operations, and capital markets teams to support pricing, funding, and strategic transactions.
  • Synthesize complex financial data into clear narratives for senior stakeholders.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Corporate Development, and Investment teams to support firm‑wide planning initiatives.
  • Contribute to firm‑level strategic finance projects and enterprise forecasts.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting and analytical processes through automation and system enhancement.
Qualifications
  • 3–8 years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or corporate strategy within an alternative asset manager, BDC, or financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of Credit investment strategies, capital structures, and performance metrics.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and decision support for complex multi‑entity structures.
  • Proven ability to translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations for executives.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, paired with a strategic mindset and executive presence.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with enterprise planning tools (e.g., OneStream, TM1, Adaptive Insights) a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
  • Strong track record and demonstrated commitment to upholding our core values of excellence, teamwork, stewardship, integrity, and respect.
