Job summary

Target Optical, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Associate Optometrist (OD) in Birmingham, AL to deliver high-quality eye and vision care within a collaborative practice. You will examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases of the visual system while supporting the brand promise and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School or College of Optometry.
• Licensed to practice Optometry in the state of practice location.
• DPA and TPA certified.
• Knowledge of current Optometric technology and practices.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality optometric care and services to your patients.
• Establish a positive Doctor/Patient relationship.
• Conduct all services in accordance with clinical protocols and accepted standards of care.
• Ensure all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
• Utilize technology to deliver unsurpassed patient experiences.
• Work with the store/practice team and leadership to foster a safe, motivating work environment.
• Maintain office quality systems and drive brand performance.
• Provide training and guidance to team members using company programs.
• Strive to exceed KPI and performance expectations.
• Help the brand be known as the leading optical provider in the community.
