Job summary

Target Optical is seeking an Associate Optometrist (OD) to provide high-quality eye and vision care. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases of the visual system, while upholding the brand promise and patient experience.

The OD will lead within the practice and work collaboratively with the store team and Field Leadership. Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited optometry program, licensed in the state, and DPA/TPA certified.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited School or College of Optometry.
• Licensed to practice Optometry in the state of practice location.
• DPA and TPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality optometric care and services to patients.
• Establish a positive Doctor/Patient relationship.
• Conduct all services per clinical protocols and standards of care.
• Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
• Utilize technology to deliver excellent patient experiences.
• Collaborate with store/practice team and leadership to maintain a safe, motivating work environment.
• Maintain office quality systems.
• Lead, participate in, and mentor team members.
