Position Overview: This role is part of the Verra Command Center (VCC), responsible for remote technical support and oversight of roadside monitoring and enforcement implementations across the U.S. and parts of Canada. The VCC operates 24/7 to ensure enforcement sites are functional. The Associate Operations Technician supports operations by learning remote troubleshooting, site and roadside monitoring, and maintaining device uptime. This entry-level position focuses on ensuring roadside network devices are online and functioning optimally.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with support teams for remote technical support and equipment tracking.
  • Keep documentation and databases updated accurately.
  • Work all shifts in a 7x24x365 environment, including on-call duties.
  • Review Red-Light Camera locations, images, and videos to ensure proper operation and quality.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Manage multiple tasks such as ticket administration and follow-up activities.
  • Learn through on-the-job training.
  • Participate in planning and daily stand-ups.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
  • Identify opportunities to improve services.
  • Adhere to customer procedures, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Be willing to learn new technologies.
  • Manage work orders effectively, including follow-up and closure.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in operations or remote troubleshooting, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of computing, data troubleshooting, network systems, and data management.
  • Preferred: Experience interpreting data to determine actions.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities.
  • Preferred: Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite and other applications like Power BI, Visio, Outlook.
  • Successful completion of Nlets fingerprinting background check.
