Job summary

Miami Valley Hospital is seeking an Associate Nurse Manager for the Float Pool to provide leadership for a patient care team on a shift-based schedule. The role supports the Nurse Manager in achieving unit and hospital objectives while ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of progressive leadership experience in a care setting, Ohio RN licensure, and current CPR/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• CPR, ACLS and PALS required or must obtain within 1 year.
• 1-3 years of job-related experience with progressive leadership.
• Experience in Advanced Care (step-down) setting preferred.

Assists in communication of system, hospital, division and unit vision and goals, develops a team of highly skilled staff, and ensures cost effective and efficient use of resources for optimum outcomes. Practice is consistent with applicable licensing board, regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
