Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Associate Network Engineer to design and plan network communications systems for U.S. and allied operations. The role requires CCNA certification, US citizenship with Invited Contractor status under the SOFA, and an active Secret clearance.

The position involves evaluating technologies, developing schematics, testing designs, and guiding hardware configurations to meet evolving network needs in a defense context.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree or 4 years of overall experience in lieu of no degree.
• CCNA Certification.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Invited Contractor status under the ROK/US SOFA.
• An active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan network communications systems.
• Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Conduct cost/benefit analysis and provide information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for efficient solutions.
• Conduct testing of network design.
• Monitor network hardware operations to ensure proper configuration options.
• Plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network.
• Advise network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.
• Maintain technical expertise in network and computer hardware/software interconnection and interfacing.
