Walmart in Bentonville, AR is seeking an Associate Merchant to support category management, negotiate with suppliers, manage purchase orders, and ensure accurate item setup across stores and online channels.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize merchandising plans, analyze sales data, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and promotional activities while upholding high standards of integrity and operational excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years' merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.
• Experience in vendor negotiations and supplier management.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and promotional planning.
• Proficient in MS Office and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Provide administrative support for supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders within assigned categories.
• Assist merchants in resolving supplier issues and facilitate the setup of new suppliers for stores and online channels.
• Own execution of customer communication and education programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of product content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support category features, promotions, and modular assortment implementation.
• Analyze sales data and support forecasting and budgeting efforts to align with financial targets.
• Guide suppliers in developing customer-focused processes and maintain item setup and pricing recommendations.
